RN – Medical Surgical - Travel Assignment | Albany, GA

Join a large acute care hospital providing care to a diverse adult medical-surgical patient population in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Contract Details:

• 36 and 48 Guaranteed Hours Available
• Every Other Weekend Required

Estimated Compensation (36-Hour Schedule):

• Weekly Gross Pay: $2,233
• Weekly Taxable Pay: $978
• Weekly Non-Taxable Stipends: $1,246

Requirements:

• Active RN License
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg experience
• Minimum 1 prior travel assignment required
• Experience in a high-acuity acute care hospital setting preferred
• First-time travelers not accepted

• Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
• COPD
• GI Bleed
• Renal Failure
• Dialysis Patients
• Post-Surgical Overflow
• Wound Care
• Amputations
• DVT
• Behavioral Health / ETOH Patients
• General Acute Medical Patients

• 483-Bed Acute Care Hospital
• MEDITECH Charting System
• Typical Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5 to 1:6
• CNA Support Available
• Telemetry Patients Monitored Remotely
• Floating to Acute Care and Cardiac Units as Needed
• Fast-Paced, High-Volume Environment
• Strong Focus on Patient Safety and Quality Care

Additional Information:

• Travelers must reside outside the facility's 75-mile radius requirement
• Caribbean Blue scrubs required
• Orientation and unit-specific training provided
