Description
Join a nationally recognized Level I Trauma Center providing advanced neurocritical care to adult patients. This 16-bed Neuro ICU cares for complex neurological and neurosurgical patients requiring specialized monitoring and interventions.
Patient Population
- Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
- Subarachnoid Hemorrhage (SAH)
- Subdural Hematoma (SDH)
- Tumor Resections
- Status Epilepticus
- Acute Stroke Patients
- Post-Thrombectomy Care
- Post-tPA Care
- Complex Neurological Disorders
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum Experience: 1.5 years Neuro ICU experience required
Must be proficient with:
- External Ventricular Drains (EVDs)
- ICP Monitoring
- Neuro Post-Operative Care
- Ventilator Management
- Care of Ventilated Patients
- CRRT
- Central Line Management
- A-Line Monitoring
- Continuous IV Sedation
- Dysrhythmia Interpretation & Management
- Titration of Cardiac and Vasoactive Drips
- Acute Stroke/CVA Management
- Traumatic Brain Injury Care
Certifications Required
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
