Description
Role: Medical Lab Tech
• Specialty: General Laboratory
• Number of Openings: 2
• Shift: 5x8 variable; normally 2:30 - 11:30p but must have flexibility to cover night shift when needed (to cover vacations etc)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: No weekend requirement
• Call Requirements: No call
• Required Certifications: MLS(ASCP) (required)
• Years of Experience: min 2 yrs relevant exp
• Float Requirements: N/A

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Blood bank experience important; facility maintains manual blood bank . Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Performs and interprets analysis on patient specimens through the use of complex laboratory techniques. Provides medical staff with information to aid in patient diagnosis. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Staff constantly switched. My documents weren't sent to the school, resulting in a months lost pay. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get on touch with anyone to answer questions. I have been attempting to reach them for over a month with absolutely no response! They lose paperwork (tests, immunizations, background checks and fingerprints) resulting in even more lost work.
