General Information:
Number of ORs: 3 Total; 2 – Ortho; 1 – General, Urology, Podiatry, GYN

Minimum years of 2 OR experience: Dependent on interview
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Dependent on interview

Case Types:
Inpatient & Outpatient
Pediatrics – Dental, otherwise Adults
Heavy Ortho – Total Joints, General, Urology, GYN, Podiatry
Avg. # of Cases performed in a day:
Very fast paced department – can do up to 9 total joints per day

Required Licensure and Certifications:
RN: BLS, ACLS, PALS
Scrub Tech: BLS; National Certification (Preferred)

Skills required:
Ortho experience is required
Must be comfortable to work as a team
Other skills will be dependent upon interview

Support on the Unit:
Scheduler
Charge nurse
Anesthesia/CRNA availability: CRNA per OR room; Anesthesiologist for the department
Transport person in PACU that will transfer back to inpatient unit; RNs will transfer from PreOp to OR

Technology/Equipment:
EMR: Thrive/Evident
IV pumps: Plum 360
Medication dispensing: Pyxis
Orientation:
Dependent on experience/skillset

Weekend rotation: None
On call: None

RTO: Manager approval
