Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms before surgical procedures.
Ensure all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and sterile.
Maintain a sterile field throughout procedures.
Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during surgery.
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures.
Perform instrument, sponge, and needle counts according to policy.
Handle surgical specimens properly.
Assist with patient positioning and preparation.
Clean and restock operating rooms between cases.
Follow infection control and patient safety standards.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of General OR/Surgical Tech experience.
Current Surgical Technologist Certification.
Current BLS Certification.
COVID Vaccination required.
Experience with ENT, Robotics, GYN, Cysto, Orthopedic, and General Surgery cases preferred.
Ability to take call (2–3 call shifts per 6-week schedule).
Experience with EPIC preferred.
