Oncology/MedSurg/Telemetry RN | Chesapeake, VA

Position Overview

Unit: 5 East – Oncology / MedSurg / Telemetry / Vascular Access
Shift: Nights, 4x12s (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Extension Possible)
Every Other Weekend Required
Float Required
Holiday Coverage Required During Contract
OT Paid After 48 Hours
Block Scheduling Not Available

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years recent MedSurg/Telemetry experience
Travel experience preferred
IV Start experience required
Telemetry Interpretation required

Required Certifications

BLS (American Heart Association)

License Requirements

Active Virginia RN License or Compact RN License
License must be in hand at submission
No pending licenses accepted

EMR Requirement

EPIC proficiency required (Hard Stop)

Patient Ratio

1:7 ratio
Candidate must be comfortable and pre-closed on this ratio prior to submission

Facility Requirements

No license or background hits accepted
RN candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Current address must be included with submission

We have following option for this role : Shift Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
