Description
Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech – Travel Contract
Location: Schenectady, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks (extensions available: 16, 22, or 26 weeks)
Schedule: Day Shift – 5x8s or 4x10s
EMR: Cerner
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
- ARRT Certification required
- RT Degree required
- VIR Certification preferred
- NY State License preferred at submission (can be screened without)
- Prior travel experience preferred but not required
- BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
Required Skills
Must be proficient in:
- Left Heart Cath (LHC)
- Right Heart Cath (RHC)
- Complex PCI
- Impella
- Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
- IVUS
- FFR
- EKOS
Schedule & Call
- Weekend rotation every 4th or 5th weekend
- 1 weeknight call per week
- No self-scheduling
- No block scheduling
Floating
- Required
- Will float to the OR to assist with C-Arm setup for:
- TCAR procedures
- EVAR procedures
