Unit: A5 Med/Surg Tele
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Orientation: Weekly on Mondays

Requirements

✅ 1+ year recent Med/Surg Tele experience
✅ Active Tennessee RN License (or eligible to practice in TN)
✅ ACLS
✅ BLS
✅ NIH

Med/Surg Telemetry experience
IV insertion skills
Telemetry monitoring
Professional demeanor and communication

Unit Details

Department: Medical Surgical Combination 2 (A5)
EMR: Meditech
Medication Dispensing: Omnicell
Patient Population: All ages
Float: May float to similar Med/Surg units as needed
Weekends: Every other weekend/as needed
Call: As needed

Dress Code

Any scrub color permitted
Casual wear not permitted on the unit

Ideal Candidate

A Med/Surg Tele RN with strong telemetry and IV skills who is flexible with floating, comfortable caring for diverse patient populations, and experienced in a fast-paced acute care environment.
