Registered Nurse - Rehab (Travel)
Location: Austin, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Facility Overview
- 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
- Specializes in treatment and recovery for patients with stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Focus on maximizing health, function, and quality of life through physical medicine and rehabilitation programs
Position Details
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Specialty Areas: Med-surg, rehabilitation, orthopedic/neuro/spinal cord
- Shift: Day shift, 06:45 AM – 07:15 PM
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Friday–Sunday)
- Call Policy: If nurse calls out on weekend, must make up shift the following weekend; minimum 2-hour notice before shift start if calling out
- Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 8 patients
- Patient Population: Geriatric and adult
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: Pinpoint
- Equipment: Stethoscope required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Med-surg nursing experience
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

- Unit: Chronic 106, Floors 2-3
- Scrub Color: Royal blue
- Report Time: 06:45 AM for day shift
- Arrival Instructions: Report to 2nd floor nurse station for shift report
- Parking: Rear of building
