Position: Hospital Pharmacist
Facility: HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital
Location: Orange Park, Florida
Department: Pharmacy
Shift: Evenings
Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Required Experience

✔ 3–5 Years of Pharmacist Experience
✔ Previous Hospital Pharmacy Experience Required

Required Certifications & Licensure

✔ Active Florida Pharmacist License (In Good Standing)
✔ BLS Certification

Required Skills

✔ Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy Operations
✔ Medication Verification
✔ Clinical Pharmacology Knowledge
✔ Medication Safety Practices
✔ IV Medication Review and Verification
✔ Pharmacy Documentation and Compliance
✔ Interdisciplinary Communication

Key Responsibilities

Review and verify medication orders
Ensure safe and accurate medication dispensing
Monitor medication therapy and patient safety
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams
Maintain compliance with hospital pharmacy policies
Utilize Meditech, DoseEdge, and Pyxis systems
Support trauma, stroke, and surgical service patient populations
Provide clinical pharmacy support and consultation
