Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Baltimore, MD
Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Facility: MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center
Start Date: 07/27/2026
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights, 3x12s (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Every other weekend required
Call Requirement: No call required
Requirements
• 2 years of RRT experience required (hard stop)
• Must have Adult Critical Care and NICU experience
• Must have completed at least 1 previous travel assignment
• BLS Certification Required
• CRT Certification Required
• RRT Certification Required
• Maryland State License Required
• Cerner experience required
• ACLS preferred
• NRP preferred
• PALS preferred

• Endotracheal tube management

• Nasal/oral airway placement and suctioning
• Tracheostomy care and management
• Pulmonary hygiene

• Mechanical ventilation management
• BiPAP and CPAP
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
• Troubleshooting high pressure alarms
• Weaning from mechanical ventilation
• Assist with high-risk deliveries
• Umbilical blood gases

Additional Information
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
• No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of assignment
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed per 13-week contract
• Two supervisory references required, including one from the most recent assignment
• Travelers must be comfortable proceeding without an interview if required by the facility
• Flu Vaccine Required
• COVID Vaccine Not Required
