Description
Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Occupational Therapy
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The COTA will assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence while following state and federal regulations, facility guidelines, and established care plans.
Responsibilities
• Implement therapy interventions according to the OT plan of care
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist with patient and family education
• Communicate patient status and progress updates to supervising OT
• Follow safety, infection control, and compliance protocols
• Support patients in achieving improved functional independence
Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active COTA license in the applicable state (or ability to obtain)
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills
• Ability to provide compassionate and effective therapy services in a clinical setting
