Description
- Position: Sterile Processing Technician
- Shift: 8-Hour Day Shift
- Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday
- Duration: 10 Weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
- Location Requirement: Candidate must live more than 50 miles from the facility
- Weekends: Rotating weekends required
- On-Call: Possible
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing experience
- Current Sterile Processing Technician Certification
- IAHCSMM/HSPA Registration required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Strong communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills
Job Duties
- Decontamination of medical instruments and equipment
- Sterilization and processing of surgical and medical supplies
- Maintaining sterile inventory
- Following infection-control policies and procedures
- Working in different areas of the Sterile Processing Department as needed
