Requirements / Preferences

• Must have:
  • RN license
  • ≥1 year clinic experience
  • Pediatric experience (required)
  • BLS certification
  • Open to first-time travelers
• Preferred:
  • Phlebotomy experience
  • Prior fast-paced outpatient clinic experience

• Schedule

• Shift: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (30 min lunch)
• Schedule: 4 days/week
• Weekends: Optional Saturday shifts (walk-in clinic in Ketchum, ~25 min away)
• Holidays: Off (clinic closed)
• Call: None

• Floating / Orientation

• Possible float to Neurology or Behavioral Health (not guaranteed/required)
• Orientation: ~1 week
• Support staff includes LPNs and Medical Assistants

Clinic Overview

• Setting: St. Luke’s Clinic – Family Medicine, Hailey, Idaho
• Type: Standalone family medicine + pediatrics clinic
• Co-located specialties: Behavioral Health, Community Health, Neurology (same building)
• EMR: Epic
• Clinic size: 25 exam rooms + 6 upstairs
• Providers: ~15 full-time + 5 PRN/flex providers
• Patient volume: ~120–150 patients/day
• Visit types: Same-day appointments + walk-ins available

Patient Population

• Neonates through geriatrics
• Pediatrics (well-child, sports physicals, immunizations)
• Women’s health (annual exams, contraception)
• Chronic disease management (notably diabetes)
• Some specialty overlap: sports medicine, OB

RN Role Responsibilities

• Triage and rooming patients
• Vitals, med administration, EKGs
• Point-of-care testing (POC)
• Wound care
• Assisting with procedures:
  • Vasectomy
  • Circumcisions
  • LEEP procedures
  • Skin excisions
  • Contraception (insertion/removal)
• Immunizations across all ages
• In-basket/clinical messaging support
• Fast-paced walk-in clinic support
