Description
Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - SICU
Hospital: Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital
Specialty: Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)
Location: Birmingham, Alabama
Shift: Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Schedule Requirement: Every other weekend
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Required Experience & Skills
Strong ICU clinical background
Experience managing high-acuity patients
Ventilator management
Arterial lines (A-lines)
Central venous lines (CVLs)
Hemodynamic monitoring and critical care interventions
EMR & Equipment
Cerner EMR
ICU equipment including ventilators, A-lines, CVLs, and advanced monitoring systems
