Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Albany, GA 31701
Shift Timing: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 3x12 Hours, 36 Hours/Week 
Contract Duration: 17 Weeks with possible extension
Start Date: 07/06/2026

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 17-week travel assignment in Albany, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience and be comfortable managing high-acuity patients, ventilators, airway management, and intubations in an acute care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care treatments and airway management for adult and pediatric patients.
• Perform nebulizer treatments, CPAP, BiPAP, Vapotherm, and ventilator management.
• Collect and interpret ABGs and report critical values.
• Assist with intubations and bronchoscopies.
• Manage patients with respiratory failure, COPD, CHF, pneumonia, ARDS, and other critical illnesses.
• Provide respiratory support in ICU settings and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff.
• Operate Servo ventilators (U and I models).
• Participate in charge and clinical coordinator responsibilities as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation using MEDITECH.
• Follow department policies and patient safety standards.

Skills: 

• Experience in facilities with 300+ beds required.
• Critical care and ventilator management experience required.
• Must be comfortable with intubations and high patient volumes.

Qualifications

• Active GA State RRT License
• NBRC Certificate
• AHA - BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• NRP Certificate
• Minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required.
• At least one previous travel assignment required.
• Experience with MEDITECH preferred.
