Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled CVOR Surgical Technologist to support cardiovascular surgical procedures in a high-performing acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining a sterile field, anticipating surgeon needs, and ensuring efficient operating room workflow during complex cardiovascular procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments for cardiovascular procedures.
- Assist surgeons and operating room staff during surgical cases.
- Organize and manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Ensure adherence to infection prevention and patient safety protocols.
- Anticipate procedural needs and support efficient case flow.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
Schedule & Call Requirements
- 4x10 Day Shift Schedule
- On-call participation required
- Weekend call coverage required
- Block scheduling is not available.
Additional Information
- No floating required.
- Local candidates are not accepted; permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
- Time-off requests are reviewed individually upon offer.
- Maximum of one time-off request per 13-week assignment.
- Guaranteed Hours: 70 hours per two-week pay period.
- Travelers may be called off for up to one 10-hour shift every two weeks.

Staff constantly switched. My documents weren't sent to the school, resulting in a months lost pay. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get on touch with anyone to answer questions. I have been attempting to reach them for over a month with absolutely no response! They lose paperwork (tests, immunizations, background checks and fingerprints) resulting in even more lost work.
