Unit Overview
- Unit: CV Pre-Op
- Location: Heart Tower – Building E
- Beds: 4
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Documentation System: Cerner
- Monitoring Equipment: GE Carescape Monitoring
- Ultrasound: Fuji Ultrasound
Schedule & Call
- Standard schedule: Monday–Friday
- Typical unit hours: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- Stay late approximately 1–2 times per week as needed
- No RTO requests accepted for this rapid response assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN License
- Critical Care Experience (Required)
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Strong critical thinking and independent decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
Preferred Experience
- Pre-Operative Nursing Experience
- BCMA experience
