Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Interventional Radiology
Location: Washington, DC
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 07/27/2026
Schedule: Day Shift | 4x10-Hour (07:00 AM – 05:30 PM)
Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and minimally invasive interventional procedures. The RN will collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care across multiple patient populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing Interventional Radiology procedures.
- Administer and monitor moderate sedation during procedures (required experience).
- Perform patient assessments before, during, and after procedures.
- Monitor patient response and ensure procedural safety and recovery.
- Start and maintain IV access for procedural needs.
- Collaborate with physicians, radiology staff, pharmacy, respiratory services, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Deliver patient education and post-procedure instructions.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support quality care initiatives.
- Participate in rotating call coverage as scheduled.
