Position Summary

WellSpan York Hospital is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) to support advanced procedural and vascular interventional services. The RN will deliver specialized patient care, procedural monitoring, and interdisciplinary collaboration in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the Interventional Radiology and Advanced Procedural Suite.
• Prepare, monitor, and recover patients undergoing interventional and vascular procedures.
• Perform patient assessments and maintain procedural safety throughout care.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias as appropriate.
• Assist with sheath removal and post-procedure monitoring.
• Utilize vascular closure systems including Perclose and StarClose.
• Support radiation and laser safety practices during procedures.
• Apply sedation assessment tools including Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale (RASS).
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Participate in call coverage, weekends, holidays, and floating as required.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
• Cath Lab and IR experience required
• Previous procedural nursing experience strongly preferred
• EPIC experience required
