Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) | Days
 

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a high-acuity assignment at a Level I Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center, and Pediatric Emergency Department. This is a fast-paced environment requiring strong trauma and emergency nursing experience.
 

Assignment Details

• Shift: Days (3x12 Hours)
• Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Start Date: ASAP
• On-Call Requirement: None
• Block Scheduling: Not Available
• Floating: Yes – May float to Pediatric Emergency Department as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Strong emergency nursing background required

Required Certifications

• Active State RN License
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIHSS
• TNCC

Preferred Certifications

• ENPC
• CPI
• MAB

• Ratios may increase to 1:6–8 during high census periods, holidays, or low-acuity assignments.

Candidate Acknowledgment Required:

• Comfortable working in high-volume environments with variable patient ratios.
• Willing to work 3 weekends (Friday–Sunday) during a 4-week schedule rotation.

Weekend Requirement

• Up to 3 weekends per 4-week schedule.
• May be scheduled for one, two, or all three days of the weekend depending on department needs.
