Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) | Days
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a high-acuity assignment at a Level I Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center, and Pediatric Emergency Department. This is a fast-paced environment requiring strong trauma and emergency nursing experience.
Assignment Details
- Shift: Days (3x12 Hours)
- Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Start Date: ASAP
- On-Call Requirement: None
- Block Scheduling: Not Available
- Floating: Yes – May float to Pediatric Emergency Department as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
- Level I Trauma Center experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Travel experience preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
- Strong emergency nursing background required

- Weekend Ratio: 1:5
- Ratios may increase to 1:6–8 during high census periods, holidays, or low-acuity assignments.
Candidate Acknowledgment Required:
- Comfortable working in high-volume environments with variable patient ratios.
- Willing to work 3 weekends (Friday–Sunday) during a 4-week schedule rotation.
Weekend Requirement
- Up to 3 weekends per 4-week schedule.
- May be scheduled for one, two, or all three days of the weekend depending on department needs.
