Description
Hawaii Pacific Health - Kapiolani Medical Center - Pediatric Transport RN
Shift: Rotating | 36 hours guaranteed | 3 12-hour shifts
Licensing / Certification Requirements:
Active Hawaii RN License
AHA BLS
AHA ACLS
AHA PALS
NRP Advanced Provider
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 2 years Transport/Flight RN experience
Must have worked as a neonatal/pediatric Transport/Flight RN within the last 12 months
Must be able to provide proof of performing the following skills on a patient in the last 12 months:
Intubation
Needle decompression
Chest tube placement
UAC/UVC (umbilical line placement)
Proficiency in difficult IV placement
Additional Contract Details:
Candidate will have to pass on-site skills test and neonate/pediatric simulations

They were really quick about getting me a contract.
Cons
Staff constantly switched. My documents weren't sent to the school, resulting in a months lost pay. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get on touch with anyone to answer questions. I have been attempting to reach them for over a month with absolutely no response! They lose paperwork (tests, immunizations, background checks and fingerprints) resulting in even more lost work.
