Postpartum RN – Travel Contract
Shift: Nights/Days (as assigned)
Unit: 5N Postpartum
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN License
- Minimum 1+ year of recent Postpartum experience
- Current AHA BLS & NRP certifications (required)
- Acute care experience required
- EPIC experience preferred
- Lactation Certification preferred
- Travel experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted
- Must work every other weekend and every other major holiday
Unit Overview
- Care for postpartum patients following vaginal and C-section deliveries
- Manage postpartum magnesium therapy, postpartum hemorrhage, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, Rhogam, and Lovenox administration
- Care for newborns in a 13-bed Postpartum Unit and 4-bed Continuing Care Nursery
