Description
Echo Technologist (Cardiac Sonographer)
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of recent Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonography experience.
- Associate's Degree in Ultrasound or related field required.
- Thorough knowledge of patient positioning, breathing techniques, and transducer placement and orientation to obtain optimal visualization of cardiac structures.
- Ability to perform high-quality echocardiographic studies while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound imaging principles.
Certifications & Licensure:
- Current ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification OR
- Current CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) certification in Echocardiography.
- Current BLS -(AHA).
Candidates must demonstrate excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
