Description
- Start Date: July 20, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM–10:00 PM (5×8s)
Responsibilities
- Perform general and vascular ultrasound examinations on neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Conduct Doppler, duplex, carotid, arterial, venous, and aortic studies.
- Perform OB/GYN, fetal, pediatric, and neonatal ultrasound imaging as needed.
- Operate portable ultrasound equipment in the ED, ICU, NICU, and inpatient units.
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Accurately document findings and maintain records in Epic and PACS.
- Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures such as paracentesis and thoracentesis.
- Adhere to infection control, isolation precautions, and PPE protocols.
- Participate in rotating weekend call coverage and respond to urgent imaging needs.
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care.
- Float to affiliated units/facilities as required and maintain flexibility in assignment coverage.
- Ensure proper equipment maintenance and produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation.
