Location: Milwaukee, WI
Setting: 228-Bed Teaching Hospital (Level IV Trauma / Level III NICU)
Shift: Night Shift | 10-Hour Shifts | Mon–Thurs, 20:30 – 07:00
Schedule: Mostly set schedule | No Call | No Weekends
🌟 Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, multi-registered Travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 10-hour night shift position in Milwaukee, WI. This role is set within a dynamic, 228-bed teaching facility featuring a Level IV Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and an Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced travelers or first-time travelers looking to expand their portfolio in a supportive, high-acuity environment.
📋 Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality General, Vascular, and OB ultrasound examinations.
- Manage a diverse patient caseload, including high-volume pelvic and vascular studies, liver duplex, and neonatal heads/abdomens.
- Average daily caseload: 6–14 patients per shift.
- Utilize bedside portable ultrasound equipment to perform exams throughout the facility as needed.
- Collaborate closely with on-unit sonographers, the Lead Sonographer, and 24/7 off-site reading radiologists.
🛡️ Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical ultrasound experience.
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply if they possess solid trauma experience.
- Certifications (Strictly Required):
- BLS (AHA)
- Must hold all three (3) ARDMS registries: Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB), and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
- Compliance: COVID-19 vaccination required by the facility.

- Medication Dispensing: Pyxis
- Equipment: GE Logiq E9, Logiq E10, Parksflo, and various Client Scanners.

- Holidays: Only required to work if the holiday falls on your regularly scheduled Monday–Thursday shift.
- Orientation: Comprehensive New Employee Orientation (NEO) paired with 2–3 departmental orientation shifts.
