Shift Details
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Start Time: 7:00 AM
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- On-Call: None
- Weekends: None
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist / Cytotechnologist to join our laboratory team. This role is responsible for performing cytological evaluations, ensuring accurate diagnostic screening, and supporting laboratory operations in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 12 months of Cytotechnology experience (required)
- Graduate of an accredited Cytotechnology program (required)
- ASCP CT certification (or equivalent Cytotechnologist certification) (required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EPIC EMR (highly preferred)
- Experience with Sunquest LIS (highly preferred)
Equipment Experience
- BD FocalPoint system (required)
- BD SurePath system (required)
Performance Expectations
- Screen 50–60 slides per day
- Handle workload of up to 300 slides per week
