Job Title: Registered Nurse
Unit: PICU- Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
Location: Bronx, NY, 10467
Shift: Night
Shift Length: 12 hours
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Duration: 13 weeks
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced RN – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with a minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized critical care to pediatric patients in a high-acuity environment and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Candidates must hold current BLS and PALS certifications through AHA, and prior CVICU experience is required. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and emergency response skills are essential.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU, including continuous assessment and monitoring of patient conditions.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and specialized treatments in accordance with physician orders and unit protocols.
- Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data, cardiac rhythms, and changes in patient status, responding appropriately to emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate and support patients' families while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Requirements:
- Most updated Resume
- Recent 2 years of RN-PICU experience required in a Acute care hospital Setting.
- CVICU Experience Required
- Valid NY State RN license
- PALS Certified through AHA
- BLS Certified through AHA
- COVID card
