Registered Nurse – PCU (Night Shift)

We are currently hiring an experienced Registered Nurse – PCU/Stepdown for a 13-week contract assignment at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.

Pay: $65/hr
Schedule: Nights, 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Contract: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide direct patient care in a PCU/MS Tele environment supporting a mixed-acuity population including surgical, trauma, ortho, and medical overflow patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside care in PCU/Stepdown unit
• Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Administer IV medications and therapies
• Manage central lines, PICCs, and IV access
• Care for respiratory support patients (CPAP/BiPAP/HFNC)
• Support post-op and medically complex patients
• Document in Epic

Requirements

• Active RN license
• 1+ year RN experience
• Recent PCU/IMC/Stepdown experience within 3 years (required)
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
