General Information
Tell us about the unit(s):
· Number of Beds – 4 Scanners, 4 table
· Number of Staff – 4 Tech 24 hours a day, 12 hour shifts
· Type of staff: 4 Techs total
o Day Shift – 4 Techs, 1 table, 12 hour shifts
o Night Shift – 4 Techs, 1 table, 12 hour shifts
· Patient Ratios – 1:1
· Type of equipment - GE, 1.5 , Discovery 450, X-Ray, MRI and CT machines
· EMR –Meditech
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for:
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
· BLS, RDMS & RVT
· 2 years Hospital experience as an Ultrasound Tech
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
· ACLS but not required
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
· Operate equipment that utilizes sound waves to create images of the body’s internal structures
· Create pictures of bones, organs, tissues and combine to create accurate picture assessment
Best personality Fit:
· Critical thinker, flexible, no call associated, willing to work weekends and nights
· Work independently is a MUST, adaptable, flexible
