Description

Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) – Nights

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12

Job Description

Provide immediate assessment and support to patients admitted to the emergency room.
Identify medical issues, determine severity, and intervene to minimize long-term negative effects or sustain life.
Serve as one of the first responders in emergency situations.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oklahoma.
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Recent travel nursing experience preferred but not required.

Additional Information

Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays.
On-call pay is provided at a set hourly rate with a minimum of 1 hour.
Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered with adjusted compensation.
Former direct employees of the facility are ineligible for agency placement until 6 months after direct employment ends.
