Teaching Hospital and Academic Center (interdisciplinary teams, cutting edge research, evidence-based development, opportunities to participate and shape protocols and programs as interested).

Strong alignment with health equity and access to care as it is far reaching (33-county catchment area) as the #1 hospital in Sacramento by U.S. News and World Report for 14 consecutive years. There is a large focus and many initiatives on health equity that is really a standout for UCDH.

What makes exceptional is our culture. Dietitians here tend to have a strong voice and more meaningful impact across a large and diverse patient population. The culture is one of the most important and amazing parts of working here and it is unlike any other organization I have worked for. The multidisciplinary teams are amazing here.
