Work Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Varied
• Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: None

Job Responsibilities

• Running the OR case
• Taking instruments to sterile processing
• Stocking rooms
• Attending deliveries
• Collecting specimens

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
• Completion of a program qualifying for surgical technician credentialing
• Minimum of 1 year of surgical technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• OB (Obstetrics) experience

Orientation Dates

• Multiple orientation dates available throughout the year

Dress Code

• Scrub color: Navy (provided by hospital)
• No unacceptable attire specified

Additional Notes

• No call or float requirements
• Position supports a Level 3 NICU and is part of a teaching hospital with accredited services including a Chest Pain Center
• Formal de-escalation training such as "Handle with Care" may be relevant for related roles in ICU, ED, NICU, etc., but not specifically required here
