Description

Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) – Nights

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12


Job Description

  • Provide immediate assessment and support to patients admitted to the emergency room.
  • Identify medical issues, determine severity, and intervene to minimize long-term negative effects or sustain life.
  • Serve as one of the first responders in emergency situations.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Oklahoma.
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recent travel nursing experience preferred but not required.

Additional Information

  • Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays.
  • On-call pay is provided at a set hourly rate with a minimum of 1 hour.
  • Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered with adjusted compensation.
  • Former direct employees of the facility are ineligible for agency placement until 6 months after direct employment ends.
