Description
Travel LPN/LVN – Long Term Care (Senior Living)
Location: Ashland, Kansas
Shift: Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
- 6 shifts on, followed by 8 shifts off
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required if a holiday falls during the scheduled work stretch
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a senior living/long-term care environment.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes appropriately.
- Perform assessments and document care accurately in Cerner.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents.
- Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effective decision-making skills.
Requirements
✔ Active Kansas LPN License or Multistate Compact License
✔ IV Certification (must be verifiable through Nursys)
✔ AHA BLS Certification
✔ Minimum 2 years of LPN/LVN experience
✔ Strong computer skills and EMR documentation experience
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Staff constantly switched. My documents weren't sent to the school, resulting in a months lost pay. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get on touch with anyone to answer questions. I have been attempting to reach them for over a month with absolutely no response! They lose paperwork (tests, immunizations, background checks and fingerprints) resulting in even more lost work.
