Location: Benton, Arkansas
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Shift: Days, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Position Type: Travel Contract (Must live more than 60 miles from facility)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician to join a busy cardiac services team at a 177-bed community hospital in Benton, Arkansas. The facility provides comprehensive healthcare services including cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, women's health, emergency care, rehabilitation, and more.

The Cath Lab Tech will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, maintain patient safety, operate imaging equipment, and provide high-quality patient care in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Prepare and maintain Cath Lab equipment and supplies.
• Operate imaging and monitoring equipment.
• Monitor patient condition during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and procedural safety standards.
• Document procedure-related information accurately.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Schedule & Call Requirements

• Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Every other weekend call required
• Two additional call days per week

Required Qualifications

One of the Following:

Option 1 – Radiologic Technologist

• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist
• Arkansas State Department of Health License for Radiologic Technologists

OR

Option 2 – Cardiovascular Technician

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
• Arkansas State Department of Health Limited Specialty License

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong cardiovascular procedural experience
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program
