Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures.
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor hemodynamics during procedures.
• Prepare patients and maintain a sterile procedural environment.
• Operate Cath Lab imaging and monitoring equipment.
• Document procedures accurately in EPIC and departmental systems.
• Respond to emergency and on-call cardiac cases as required.
• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
Required Qualifications:
• Recent Cath Lab Tech experience required.
• Experience with scrubbing, circulating, and hemodynamic monitoring.
• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• IEMA certification/license required.
• Active Illinois license or proof of application required.
• Ability to meet a 30-minute on-call response time.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
