Role Overview:
As a School Nurse (LPN) you will, provide primary health care and emergency services to students and staff, promote wellness, and serve as a health resource within the school community. This role supports student success by addressing health-related barriers to learning.
Job Details:
- 1:1 LPN: @4 or 7 hours per day (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday):supporting a medically fragile preschool student; responsibilities include transportation, G-tube care, wheelchair assistance, and toileting support
- Pay Rate: $40-$50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Provide first aid and emergency care.
- Monitor students with chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, seizures).
- Conduct contact tracing and illness follow-ups.
- Support individualized health plans for students with special needs.
- Maintain accurate student health records.
- Ensure compliance with state health regulations and school policies.
