🏥 Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Bakersfield, CA | High Pay | EPIC Conversion
📍 Location: Bakersfield, California (Specialty Facility)
📅 Assignment Details:
- Start Dates: August 3rd or August 17th, 2026 (Must start by Aug 24, 2026)
- Duration: 8 Weeks (EPIC Conversion Project)
- Shift: 12-Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Schedule: 3x12s (36 hours/week guaranteed*)
- Openings: 4 Positions Available
🧠 About the Role:
Join a fast-paced ICU team for a high-impact EPIC system conversion project. This is a unique opportunity to work in a technologically evolving environment while leveraging your critical care expertise and EMR proficiency.
We are looking for experienced ICU RNs who are highly adaptable, tech-savvy, and confident in both Cerner and EPIC systems.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality critical care nursing in ICU setting
- Manage complex patients including those requiring Balloon Pump & Impella support
- Accurately document using EPIC & Cerner EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during system transition
- Ensure patient safety, compliance, and best clinical practices
- Adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment
✅ Required Qualifications:
- Active California RN License
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- ACLS (AHA) – Required
- Balloon Pump Experience – Required
- Impella Experience – Required
- Recent EPIC Experience: Minimum 6 months within the last 12 months
- Cerner Experience – Required (must be proficient in both systems)
🚫 Important Notes:
- NO RTO (Request Time Off not permitted)
- Must be available for orientation on Aug 3rd or Aug 17th
- Must start by August 24th, 2026 (non-negotiable)
