Assignment Duration: September 14, 2026 – December 19, 2026
Status: Contract / Temporary Assignment
 

Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified and patient-focused Level 1 Advanced Practice Clinic Provider (AP Clinic) to join a multidisciplinary outpatient healthcare team. The provider will deliver comprehensive primary and specialty clinical care under established protocols while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical assessment skills, experience in ambulatory or outpatient settings, and the ability to manage patient care independently within their scope of practice.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic health conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Provide preventive healthcare services, wellness counseling, and patient education.
• Document all patient encounters accurately and timely within the electronic health record (EHR).
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, clinical protocols, and patient safety guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current unrestricted state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
• National certification through an approved certifying body.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience in an outpatient, primary care, urgent care, or specialty clinic setting.
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electronic medical record systems (EPIC, Cerner, or similar platforms).
• Prior experience in family practice, internal medicine, occupational health, or ambulatory care settings.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Experience working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
