Description
UNIT: IR TECH
CLINICAL INTERVIEW
Experience: 2 years of IR experience. Will accept first time traveler
Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT, IEMA
Patient Types: Adults and peds. Only about 10% of the cases are peds. If they’re a peds inpatient, the anesthesiologist and the pediatric sedation team will give the sedation. Peds experience not required, will be taught here.
General IR patients and Neuro IR (required) – kyphos/vertebroplasties, G/GJ tube placement/exchange, neph tubes/nephroureteral stents, IVC filters, temporary and tunneled dialysis catheters, Y90s/TIPs, chemo/coil embolizations, ports, stroke patients
Skills required: Experience with above required cases. EPIC experience
