Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse to join a specialized Palliative Care Unit focused on providing compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals with serious and life-limiting illnesses. The ideal candidate will have strong Med Surg experience, excellent symptom management skills, and a passion for improving quality of life through comfort-focused care.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with serious and advanced illnesses
Assess and manage pain, nausea, fatigue, and other distressing symptoms
Administer medications and non-pharmacological interventions for symptom relief
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status
Perform cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management as needed
Collaborate with physicians, case managers, social workers, and interdisciplinary teams
Support patients and families through education, communication, and compassionate care
Document patient care accurately in EPIC

Requirements Active RN License Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience BLS Certification required EPIC experience required Previous travel experience preferred Experience with pain management and symptom control preferred
