Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a hospital-wide Float Pool assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong telemetry and stepdown experience and be comfortable caring for a variety of patient populations, including Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, PCU, and Emergency Department hold patients. This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work in multiple clinical settings throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care in PCU, Telemetry, Med Surg, and ER Hold environments
Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage telemetry patients
Administer medications, including cardiac and vasoactive drips
Perform IV therapy, central line care, PICC line management, and patient assessments
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Respond to rapid response and emergency situations
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

Requirements Active RN License Minimum 2 years of recent PCU, Stepdown, Telemetry, or Acute Care experience Previous travel nursing experience required BLS and ACLS certifications required EPIC experience preferred First-time travelers will not be considered
