  • Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing

Description

Experience Required: 2 years excluding travel experience.  1 min. prior travel assignment.

Certs Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC (REQUIRED) – must be willing to obtain this certification prior to arrival

Charting System: Epic – REQUIRED 

Patient Types: Complex ICU patients ranging from surgical, medical, cardiac (preferred), neuro and trauma
Diagnoses include but are not limited to: ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, s/p cardiac cath, post-surgical, multiple system trauma – heavy trauma population
Cardiac experience is preferred (not required): CABG/TAVR – 24 to 48 hrs post op experience is preferred but not required for travelers
Will not take fresh open hearts unless they are experienced, and the facility felt comfortable with this – given to permanent staff

Floating: Not common unless overstaffed. Could float to any adult floor – including Medsurg/Tele with 1:4 ratio. Confirm traveler comfortability during interview
