Job Title: Electrophysiology Technologist (EP Lab)
Location: Hackensack, NJ
Start Date: 06/22/2026
Schedule: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM (5x8s or 4x10s)
Hours: 40 hours/week
Additional Requirements: Weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage as needed
Job Description:
• Assist physicians with invasive cardiac, peripheral diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab.
• Support temporary and permanent pacemaker placements and other electrophysiology procedures.
• Assist with circulatory support devices including IABP and Impella when indicated.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain sterile equipment and procedural trays for each case.
• Position and prepare patients for procedures while ensuring accurate patient monitoring.
Requirements:
• Cath Lab and Electrophysiology experience required
• Experience with intra-procedure EP mapping, ablation, and implant devices required
• Knowledge of sterile scrub technique required
• Strong written, verbal, and computer skills required
Education & Certifications:
• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist Program, Radiologic Technologist Program, or Associate Degree in Applied Science (AAS)
• AHA BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required within 3 months of employment
• RCIS exam (CCI) or Radiologic Technologist License required within 1 year of hire
• RCIS / RCES / RT preferred
