Job Description:
• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations following ACR standards and breast imaging protocols.
• Assist with breast ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy, needle localization, and radiology-guided breast procedures.
• Operate mammography equipment and perform proper breast positioning and compression techniques.
• Support advanced breast imaging including Tomosynthesis (3D Mammography), breast MRI coordination, and DEXA scanning when applicable.
• Prepare patients and provide education before and after procedures.
• Maintain accurate imaging documentation and patient records.
• Perform quality control and quality assurance activities in compliance with ACR, MQSA, FDA, and NJ State standards.
• Track patient follow-ups, biopsy coordination, and breast imaging outcomes.
• Deliver patient-centered care across diverse patient populations and maintain Breast Center workflow.

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Breast Imaging / Mammography experience required (5+ years preferred)
• Experience with screening and diagnostic mammography required
• Experience with breast positioning, compression techniques, breast ultrasound assistance, stereotactic biopsy, and needle localization
• Knowledge of advanced breast imaging and patient education

Education & Certifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Active Radiologic Technologist License required
• ARRT Certification required
• Mammography Certification required
• Breast Imaging Competencies required
