IV Pharmacist Requirements
- PharmD (required)
- Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license (State Board of Pharmacy)
- Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and customer/patient communication skills
- At least 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacist
- At least 2+ years of IV experience
IV Pharmacist Responsibilities
- Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately while ensuring legal/regulatory compliance
- Provide patient counseling on dosing, side effects, interactions, and safe medication use
- Support pharmacy operations: workflow, inventory, records, and supervision of technicians/clerks
- Collaborate with providers and healthcare teams to resolve medication-related problems
- Support compounding/sterile prep responsibilities as needed
