Pay Rate: Starting at $27.10/hour (final compensation based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Technician, or Medical Laboratory Scientist to join a collaborative laboratory team at a 110-bed acute care hospital. This position offers the opportunity to work in a full-service laboratory supporting inpatient, outpatient, emergency, surgical, ICU, OB, skilled nursing, and clinic patients.

The laboratory performs testing in chemistry, hematology, coagulation, blood bank, urinalysis, serology, molecular diagnostics, and microbiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory testing accurately and efficiently
• Analyze, interpret, and report laboratory results
• Collect and process patient specimens, including phlebotomy
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals regarding laboratory findings
• Participate in cross-training initiatives and occasional coverage needs

Qualifications

Required

• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
• Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
• Phlebotomy experience
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred

• Experience in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, blood bank, and molecular testing
• Previous hospital laboratory experience
