Day 3x12-Hour (06:45 - 19:15)is the shift for this role. The Job Description:POSITION: Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING ============================== • Shift hours: 3x12s days 645a-715p • Charting: EPIC experience required • Weekend Requirement: May be EOW or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block • RTO Block Special Scheduling Requests: ALL requests must be included with the submission. • Call off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2-weeks. • Holiday Requirement: Must work one holiday per 13-week contract. • Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes • Locals Accepted? Radius Rule: Yes locals accepted. Refer to the Submittal Instructions for radius rule criteria. • Pending License Accepted: Yes only if the candidate holds a single-state license from a non-compact state. Otherwise submission must include an active Virginia State or Compact RN/LPN license. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS ======================= BLS REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS ======================== • Charge Experience • Proficient in Med/Surg care with experience in use of Rapid Response/Code teams • Skilled in peripheral line care/management nasal cannula non-invasive airway management oxygen administration and tanks and isolation precautions UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING ========================== • 1:6 ratios • Adult Acute care unit caring for patients with elective back surgeries trauma prostate cancer gallbladders cellulitis. • Will be required to float within skillset • RN may be required to work as charge and to precept
