Floor: 7th – Neuro/Ortho/Peds

Trauma Level: 2

Position Information:
• Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): RN
• Specialty: Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: NOC
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: 3 weekends every 6 weeks
• Call Requirements: None
• Required Certifications: BLS, PALS (Preferred)
• Years of Experience: 2+
• Float Requirements: Yes to inpatient units

• Number of Beds: 24
• Patient Ratios: 1:6
• EHR: Paragon, switching to Cerner 3/1/24

• Supervisor: 1-2

• Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: All ages over 28 days

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: 2+ Adults, RN License
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: 2+ Pediatrics
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Trauma and Post of Ortho/Neuro, General Pediatric Unit (0-3 rooms on average)
• Personality Fit: Teamwork and collaboration

• Required Education: ADN
